| Description | From 24 October 1816 to 19 October 1820, this committee appears to have had no independent existence, but seems to have been constituted simply as and when the Bethlem Sub-Committee discussed matters relating to the State Criminal Lunatic Asylum. It seems to have become known as the Criminal Lunatic Sub-Committee from 26 October 1820 onwards. Unlike series CSA, which records the interaction of the Criminal Lunatic Department with Government, volumes in this series seem to have been solely used internally. |
